Three Effective Means of Reducing Ore Crushing Granularity

In the whole production process of mine, the electricity consumption in the ore dressing production process accounts for about 60% of the total electricity consumption of the mining production, and ore crushing and grinding accounts for 30% of the electricity consumption and electricity consumed by ore grinding accounts for 88%. For this reason, reducing the electricity consumed by ore grinding is the key to reducing the total electricity consumption of the ore dressing plant, and reducing the ore crushing granularity is an effective way to realize energy conservancy and consumption reduction of ore grinding. Now the experts of Hongxing Machinery will introduce three effective means of reducing ore crushing granularity.

(1) Use new anti-abrasion screen.

With the development of science and technology, new type anti-abrasion screen is developed and applied in mining. The ore dressing plant can design the screen size suitable for the specific production according the practical inspection of the ore dressing plant. The new type anti-abrasion screen has the features of durability, improved screening efficiency and smaller amount of maintenance.

(2) Reasonably adjust the width of the ore discharging mouth of the medium crushing and fine crushing cone crusher.

On the condition of ensuring the safe operation of the equipment and the smooth production, reasonably adjusting the width of the ore discharging mouth of the medium crushing and fine crushing cone crusher can reduce the granularity of the medium crushing products but will increase the workload of the medium crushing cone crusher. When the products are screened by the open-circuit screen, the amount of the ores that go into the fine crushing cone crusher will properly decrease, for this reason, it is necessary to further reduce the width of the ore discharging mouth of the fine crushing cone crusher to finally get better crushing granularity.

(3) Strengthen the production management to ensure qualified product granularity.

In order to ensure qualified crushing granularity, the ore beneficiation plant should fabricate strict management, test and examination system, like examining and adjusting the width of the ore discharging mouth of the medium crushing and fine crushing cone crusher two times a week; checking the granularity of the final crushed products three times of a week; putting an end to open-circuit production. These above-mentioned measures can effectively reduce the granularity of the crushed products.
